Apart from the work we are conducting on developing a MOOC, writing the core text book for the Joint Masters in Digital and Social Media Marketing course, we are involved in creating a new platform for the continuously growing #passion4digital community.

Although we have been successful with the community developed on Creative Hive platform, we believe that more can be done in order to provide you the tools and support to showcase your work and share ideas with your Digital Marketing community peers. For this reason we would like to work with you on gathering ideas and feedback which will help us understand your requirements, and ultimately improve your experience when using our platform.
#passsion4digital community research overview
The work we are conducting for this new platform is also being used by Cristinel Mateias, a final year university student for his dissertation project. The aim of the research is to identify what are the deciding factors involved in the user engagement with an online community such as #passion4digital.
Furthermore, as the research results will be used in the development process for #passion4digital community platform, the process will be user-centric. This means that your role in this research is essential as a reviewer of the developed system and provider of additional information focusing on deciding factors when using social networking platforms.

How can you shape #passion4digital community?
Initially we will conduct an online survey which will take no longer than 10 minutes.
We are offering a prize draw for a £20 Amazon voucher for completing a form. The deadline for completing the survey and registering for the prize draw is the 26th of February 2016 and the winner will be contacted by email within 48 hours after the deadline.To be entered into the Prize Draw you need to provide your email address at the end of the survey when prompted.
You will be required to answer a set of questions regarding your experience in using other social networking website, and also what are the main features you would expect from the new #passion4digital community platform.
In terms of the data confidentiality, your data is safe, and if you wish to participate to the prize draw the contact details will only be used for that purpose. The results will only be used in the development process and they will not be published. However, if you require access to the findings, access will be granted.
